What’s inside

Week 1

Begin your investigation of mindfulness with one of the most foundational practices: working with the breath. Learn both breath meditation techniques and how to return to the breath throughout your day to arrive in the present moment.

Week 2

Continue with mindfulness of the body by moving into the body as a whole. Utilizing body scans, body awareness, and mindful walking, begin to investigate the overall experience of the body in the present.

Week 3

Explore the practice of loving-kindness, both with yourself and with others. Bring this practice to life with real-life applications of a kind awareness.

Week 4

Take a look at the thinking mind and mental states, Through meditation and daily practices, begin to see the patterns of thinking and how they arise in your personal experience throughout the day.

Week 5

Continue with the heart practices, cultivating compassion and appreciative joy. Learn to recognize the pain and pleasure in life, and how to show up for each with wisdom and gentleness.

Week 6

In the final week, work with the emotional experience in both the mind and body. Unhook from your thoughts and tune into the experience of feeling with awareness.

  • This course is for anyone who wants to begin investigating mindfulness and compassion in everyday life. It is especially made with beginners in mind, but anyone can benefit from the practices offered!

  • Yes! This course is made specifically with beginners in mind. You don’t need any previous meditation experience or understanding of mindfulness to engage with this course.

  • All you will need is an internet connection and a willingness to investigate experience! You may like to have a notebook or journal, but it isn’t strictly necessary.

  • Each week has three days of practice (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Every day has a meditation that is about ten minutes long, and a practical video that is about five minutes long.

  • If you have questions during the course, you will have both my phone number and email address. You can also always use my contact me page!

  • You can either buy the course with individual sessions or request them at a later date. Individual sessions are 50 minute sessions in which we discuss your experience and practice to help you with a specific issue in life or build your mindfulness practice.
