Who Is It For?
The Month of Mindfulness was designed for those who are interested in building a regular meditation practice. It doesn’t matter how much experience you have with meditation. With daily guided meditations, the intention is to offer a structured way to create a new habit. The Month of Mindfulness is truly for anyone who wants to investigate mindfulness and meditation in their lives.
About Me
I’m Matthew, and I created this monthlong program specifically to support those who wish to build a new meditation habit. In working with countless individuals over the years, I have noticed a struggle to really integrate meditation into a busy life.
I am a Buddhist meditation teacher who trained to teach at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. I have sat at various retreats and monasteries in many traditions including Abhayagiri, Wat Metta, and Deer Park.
As my bestselling book Practicing Mindfulness demonstrates, I have a passion for taking the traditional teachings of mindfulness and learning how we can incorporate them into modern life. I believe that now, more than ever, we are called to practice mindfulness, compassion, and investigation.
